“I sought Lizna’s help after struggling for months to raise my score in Reading Comprehension. I was averaging -0/1 in the other sections but I couldn’t seem to crack RC. After working with Lizna I was able to improve my score drastically and ended up scoring a 175 on my first and only official LSAT. Lizna is responsive, effective, and a great person in general. I couldn’t be happier with the assistance she provided me and I highly recommend her tutoring.”

“I felt comfortable working through my thought process out loud and being wrong, which is so important to me since I would usually stay quiet in my tutoring sessions using LSAT Lab. Although we set up an initial plan of attack for the sessions leading up to the test, Liz was super flexible and willing to work with me when I wanted to work more on LR or RC one week. She was incredibly easy to get a hold of since she provides her students with her number and was also accommodating with me regarding my work schedule and the three hour time difference between us. ”

“I was doubting whether I could significantly improve my scores anymore after seeing little improvements in the previous months, but Liz really calmed my nerves and boosted my confidence as early as our first meeting. Liz just genuinely has such a good grasp of the materials, almost seems to know all the recent practice exams by heart, gives great explanations, and is constantly kind and reassuring.”

“I have been absolutely delighted to work with Lizna on improving my LSAT score. On my first practice test, I scored a 152 and ended up scoring 23 points higher at a 175 on the August 2021 LSAT. Lizna tailored her work to my needs, was insightful, sensitive, inspirational, and above all, was of the highest quality. She was very flexible when it came to scheduling and never made me feel like I was of any trouble to her. She always answered my questions and concerns through email or text swiftly and thoroughly.
Throughout my time of working with Lizna, we hit several plateaus with my score. We would discuss the areas I was struggling in and then execute a plan we felt would help hurdle those obstacles. She pays excellent attention to detail, and I believe that is what helped me enter the coveted 170+ LSAT score range. Her ability to not only give her own recommendations but also listen to what you have to say is what I believe separates her from other tutors. The support and help she gave me was exceptional and I cannot recommend her enough to other prospective law school students. You will not be disappointed!”

“If you're thinking about getting a tutor, Liz is a choice you won't regret. I studied with Liz from early May until taking the September LSAT, meeting twice a week. Eventually, I jumped from my original PT score of 157 all the way to a final score of 174 on the September LSAT (+17), my goal score. In the weeks leading up the LSAT, I was even consistently scoring in the upper 170s.
Before my sessions with Liz, the LSAT was life or death. It haunted me! I was struggling to study consistently, and I felt like I was floating through my studying for close to a year: motionless but anxious. Meeting with Liz each week gave me much-needed structure and made the LSAT as bearable (at times, fun) as it can be. The intense pressure that comes with this exam was relieved when I knew that I had someone there to support me through the entire process, someone who was almost always available, and always willing to listen.
Liz knows the LSAT through and through; in fact, she has half the questions memorized (scary!), and she actually really likes the LSAT... She gears her sessions to your goals and your weaknesses. She knows her way through LSAC processes; registrations, accomodations, test day realities, etc. She's great in a crisis, like when you're having a burnout moment. She encourages and enforces rest/taking care of yourself and sees these moves as essential to your success. She's also well aware of the ways the LSAT is geared towards certain people and geared against others; equity and accessibility are central to her tutoring vision.
She will be your biggest fan, your greatest motivator, and honestly, your friend.
I genuinely think that, without her support, I wouldn't have taken the LSAT this fall, let alone gotten a score in the mid 170s. I hate to admit it, but because of her, I might actually miss studying for the LSAT. Yikes!”

“Liz was great from the beginning of the consultation to the very last session we had, two days before the test. So the sessions I had with her were once a week for an hour and a half; that worked best for me though it will vary based on your personal needs. Liz was also incredibly accommodating. She gives her number to all her students and was always willing to adjust the session style based on what I wanted to focus on. For example, when I struggled with RC on my pts (-2 to -8 fluctuations), we spent several sessions doing passages together and taking turns answering the questions. In another span of weeks, we would go through my LR PT mistakes, where she would narrate her thought process and solve every wrong question. What I liked about all of this was that she was not afraid of potentially picking the wrong answer. Even on the very rare occasion that she did, it always became a great learning experience for two reasons. First, it made the process of actually doing LSAT work more humanizing. I was so used to the prerecorded on 7sage that I started to feel like an idiot whenever I got a question wrong. Seeing an expert solve a question they didn't know the answer to in real-time made me realize that the LSAT is just tough and can even trip up the very best. Second, the mistake would always lead to us working together to find the correct answer.
In my previous experience with academic tutors, the relationship often felt hierarchical (i.e., the teacher was an unquestionable authority). I never felt that way with Liz; she never acted like a condescending teacher but instead as an actual friend who was always willing to hear your thoughts and ideas. One last thing about the tutoring experience was the organization outside the sessions. Like I said before, my study schedule was typically 4-5 hours a day, but it became only 1.5-2 hours a day under Liz's guidance. This adjustment greatly improved my PT scores (consistent low to mid 170s), and it also saved me a lot of time trying to figure out which sections to do because she would make the drills for me. Ultimately, Liz went above and beyond as a tutor, and I honestly could not have gotten my score without her.”
